The College of Pharmacists of BC is working to update its Jurisprudence Exam (JE) and is seeking input from pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Amendments to modernize the College’s bylaws under the Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act (PODSA) are now in effect.

Amendments to the Drug Schedules Regulation (DSR) under the Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act (PODSA), moving certain Schedule I codeine containing liquid preparations to Schedule IA, are now in effect.

Planned Maintenance to eServices and Related Services - December 4
Required maintenance work to the College’s IT systems supporting eServices will take place on Wednesday, December 4 from 6:00PM to 11:00PM.
The highlights from the November Board Meeting are now available.
Topics include initial Continuing Education audits, pharmacy prescribing authority update, PODSA modernization phase II bylaw amendments and Professional Practice Policies, pharmacists' injecting authority update and more.
Both the College and the BC Pharmacy Association have received some concerns that the vial for the paralyzing agent rocuronium bromide (DIN 02318415) is visually very similar to the vial for the Fluviral influenza vaccine.
