NAPRA Position: Pharmacy Student for Spring/Summer 2026

The National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) is currently recruiting a pharmacy student for Summer 2026. They are looking for a pharmacy student who is currently enrolled in an accredited Canadian pharmacist program.  

The pharmacy student will work with both the Professional and Regulatory Affairs Department and Registration and Licensure Department to advance pharmacy projects or initiatives which will be beneficial to both the organization and the student. The work plan will be developed with input from NAPRA and the student, to ensure a successful learning experience for the student while ensuring that the goals for NAPRA are met. Some of the key responsibilities are listed below. Additionally, the pharmacy student will have the opportunity to learn more about pharmacy regulation by sitting-in on meetings with the pharmacy regulatory authorities and external organizations.

This will be a remote position.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Research and support NAPRA projects in both the Professional and Regulatory Affairs and Registration and Licensure departments, as appropriate
  • Support the National Drug Schedules (NDS) program
  • Research and respond to inquiries related to the NDS and pharmacy practice • Preparation of NAPRA news articles
  • Provide support for updates to NAPRA documents and material, including supporting the compounding standards update project
  • Provide support for NAPRA’s engagement with the federal government and other relevant organizations, including research and analysis of the topics at hand
