16.5% (213 votes) of the 1288 pharmacy professionals in the Vancouver Island / Coastal (District 3), Community Hospital (District 7) voted in the elections. The College would like to thank everyone who took the time to help select the representatives from each district to join the College Board.
2022 Board Election Results
The College is pleased to announce the results of the most recent Board elections held for pharmacy professionals in Districts 1, 3, 5, and 7.
The successful candidates (indicated in bold, below) will begin their term at the beginning of the November 2022 Board meeting.
DISTRICT 1 - Metropolitan Vancouver
Note: The College is pleased to announce the acclamation of Alex Dar Santos in District 1 (Vancouver Metropolitan) to a 3-year term. Mr. Dar Santos ran unopposed, therefore no election was held in District 1.
DISTRICT 3 - Vancouver Island / Coastal
Lauren Drzewiecki - 46 (44.66%)
Andrea Silver - 57 (55.34%)
DISTRICT 5 - Northern BC

Note: As no nominees came forward before the nomination period closed, Michael Ortynsky was appointed by special resolution as per HPA Bylaw 6(9) and HPA Bylaw 10(1).
