 Business Intelligence Analyst (Permanent, Full-Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in the BC Lower Mainland, CPBC is seeking a permanent full‑time Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Business Intelligence (BI) unit in delivering high‑quality data insights that strengthen decision‑making across the organization. This role plays a key part in analyzing, interpreting, and transforming data into meaningful information that improves CPBC’s operational effectiveness and advances strategic priorities. Reporting to the Director of Business Transformation, the BI Analyst will work closely with teams across CPBC to compile, manage, and analyze large data sets; develop dashboards and reports; ensure data integrity; and contribute to both Business Transformation initiatives and CPBC‑wide projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting clear, actionable insights that support organizational planning, performance measurement, and evidence‑informed decision‑making.

The successful candidate will have over 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, along with a strong understanding of data management practices and analytical methodologies. Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence platforms is an asset. Proactive and solutions‑oriented, this individual demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to accuracy. A fast learner, the candidate will quickly acquire expertise in CPBC’s data systems and exhibits advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools. As a key member of a collaborative and evolving BI function, the successful candidate will be adaptable, innovative, and dedicated to advancing CPBC’s data‑driven capabilities.

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is $75K to $83K annually based on a 35-hour work week. The starting salary will be determined based on factors such as the successful candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience; salaries of other employees in the same salary range; market conditions and other relevant factors.
