January 2, 2018

On January 1, 2018, amendments to Professional Practice Policy – 66, including changing its name from “Methadone Maintenance Treatment” to “Opioid Agonist Treatment,” came into effect. These amendments also include the introduction of new policy guides for buprenorphine/naloxone, and slow-release oral morphine​.

 

December 21, 2017

On December 20, 2017, BC’s Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Judy Darcy announced that take-home naloxone kits are now available at community pharmacies throughout British Columbia.

December 13, 2017

Required maintenance work to the College’s IT systems supporting eServices will take place between 5:00 pm Saturday, December 16 and 12:00pm Sunday, December 17.
