Join a Committee and Be a Part of the Future of Pharmacy in BC!

THE COLLEGE IS LOOKING FOR DEDICATED PHARMACISTS, PHARMACY TECHNICIANS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC TO SERVE ON OUR VOLUNTEER-DRIVEN COMMITTEES.

Our committees help to ensure that BC’s registered pharmacy professionals continue to provide patients with safe, high-quality pharmacy care. Serving on a committee is a rewarding opportunity to participate in our public health system and to help ensure the health and safety of the communities you live and work in. Your service and dedication will help to ensure the future of pharmacy practice is in good hands.

“Volunteering with the Registration Committee has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and build on new skills and develop self-esteem. I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and a better understanding of how our regulatory college works, while meeting new people and building new connections.”

                - Atamjit Bassi RPhT, Registration Committee

COMMITMENT TO ENDING INDIGENOUS SPECIFIC & OTHER FORMS OF RACISM AND ENSURING DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION IN OUR WORK

The College is committed to constituting committees with members of the public and registrants who have diverse experience, backgrounds and perspectives.

We are seeking more diversity on our committees including BC First Nations and Indigenous peoples and members from racialized and marginalized groups. These voices are essential to ensure that deliberations are informed, that decisions include and respect First Nations’ and Indigenous protocols and perspectives, that systemic biases are identified and questioned, and that the College’s collective work continues to grow in its cultural safety and humility journey, contributing to dismantling systemic racism in health care.
