Registration Reinstatement

REGISTRATION REINSTATEMENT

If you are a former or non-practising registrant in B.C. and would like to reinstate into the Full Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician register, you must complete the reinstatement registration process before practising pharmacy in BC.

Your reinstatement category is determined by the length of time that has lapsed since the date you were last registered as a “Full” registrant (and not any other class such as “Non-Practising” or “Temporary”), to the date your “Full” registration is completed.

However, if you are currently registered as an active, practicing pharmacist in another Canadian province/territory, you are eligible to reinstate through the “Pharmacist from Canada (CFTA)” pre-registration category instead of through the “Less than 6 years” or “6 years or More” reinstatement category.

Each category has its own registration requirements that must be met in order to complete the registration process.

If you have any questions, contact the Registration Department at: [email protected].

You must not provide pharmacy services until your registration has been reinstated by the College.
