IT Assistant Manager (1-Year, Temporary)

About the Role

The College is seeking to hire an experienced IT professional to take on role of Information Technology Assistant Manager for a one-year term with the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an IT related field and previous supervisory experience. The IT Assistant Manager will have strong problem solving and analytical skills, experience leading diverse application development teams, strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and an ability to build a high performing team.

Based in Vancouver, this position is responsible for managing the operational process of the IT department and ensuring services and operating standards are met in alignment with the department’s strategic priorities and the College’s policies and procedures. This role is also responsible for streamlining operational procedures to ensure the department is functioning efficiently.
