The College is pleased to announce the following candidates, listed alphabetically by district, for the upcoming College of Pharmacists of BC Board Election (please click on the candidate name for their bio):
District 2 - Fraser Valley (to be elected to a 2 year term)
District 4 - Kootenay/Okanagan (to be elected to a 2 year term)
District 6 - Urban Hospitals (to be elected to a 2 year term)
District 8 - Pharmacy Technicians (to be elected to a 2 year term)
As a result of the nominees received, elections will be held in Districts 2, 4, 6 and 8. Elections are conducted by mail in ballot, and all pharmacists in good standing in District 2, 4, and 6 and pharmacy technicians iin good standing in District 8 (as defined in HPA Bylaws 1), in each of the respective districts, are eligible to vote.
Personalized ballots with a postage-paid return envelope will be mailed to eligible registrants in each of the electoral districts on September 10th, 2012. Included in this mailing will be a copy of each of the candidate biographies (with the cntent as it was delivered to the College) for that particular district.
Each eligible registrant is entitled to 1 ballot and may vote in favour of 1 candidate in their respective district. Completed ballot envelopes must be received by KN&V, the College's independent elections contractor, by 5pm, Wednesday, October 17th, 2012. Ballots recived after this date and time will not be counted. Ballots will be counted October 19, 2012. Please note that the voting process has changed slightly so follow the directions on the ballot envelope carefully.

- Sep 10: Mailing of ballots and nominee biographies to pharmacists in the respective electoral districts 2, 4, and 6 and to pharmacy technicians in district 8
