Tapentadol (Nucynta®) has been added to the Controlled Prescription Program, effective immediately. Prescribers must use the duplicate prescription forms associated with the program, and pharmacists must comply with the regulatory requirements outlined in the Pharmacy Operations and Drug Scheduling Act bylaws 4(6) and 4(8).
